Big Bear Lake, CA, March 3, 2013 – Local St. Patrick’s Day celebrations include the 2nd annual Luck of the Irish Casino Night on Saturday, March 16 at the Convention Center. The event is the key annual fundraiser for Singing Pines Education Center, Big Bear’s only private school.
A Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament with a $25 buy-in is one of the night’s key events with prizes awarded to the top finishers. Grand prizes include an Apple IPad Mini; Lodestone Adventures Action ZipLine Party for 10; and a Helicopter Tour for two of Big Bear Lake.
There are also plenty of free games like Vegas-style craps tables, black jack and roulette. Choose from a variety of contests: the Hammer Pound, Log Sawing and the Balloon Jig contests, as well as the Four Leaf Clover pick, Fortune of Luck Balloons and the Irish Silent Auction.
DJ Joe Vonesh will spin a variety of tunes from all genres.
Wyatt’s Cafe & Saloon will be open offering Curly’s Cornbeef and Cabbage Special, as well as the cafe’s full ranch-style menu. Lucky Irish Bar Specials and green beer will also be available.
Tickets for one of Big Bear’s biggest events are only $10.00 in advance or $15.00 at the door. The Luck of the Irish Casino Night takes place at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center on Saturday, March 16.
