The Music in the Mountains series raises funds for ongoing restoration of the San Bernardino National Forest, one of the busiest in the national forest system. It is produced by the non-profit Southern California Mountains Foundation, whose event producer, Kathy Clapsaddle, points out, “DSB was recently voted by their fans as the ‘World’s Greatest Tribute to Journey,’ elevating them to new heights and reinforcing their ‘next best thing’ status.”
The British Beat, Journey Decades of British Invasion will open the concert, rounding out a celebration of the 70s and 80s top classic rock bands.
The concert begins at 6:00 p.m. General admission tickets are available online, at the Discovery Center Adventure Outpost and at the event gate: $27 adult; $10 teens (13-17); youth 12 and under free admittance in the open seating areas.
All parking at the Discovery Center will be prepaid through ticket packages. Parking and ticket gates will open at 5:00 p.m. General admission parking is free and available at Meadows Edge Trailhead ¼-mile west of the Discovery Center entrance. Free shuttles will run from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. Complimentary handicap parking is limited and will be available on a first-come basis at the Discovery Center with appropriate tag or license plate.
