Fawnskin, CA, July 30, 2013 – This year, the Big Bear Renaissance Faire returns to Pedersen Sawmill and expands to three weekends: August 3-4, August 10-11 and August 17-18. Pedersen Sawmill is located at 39115 Rim of the World Drive in Fawnskin.
The usual favorites will be back, including the jousting knights of Mayhem, Queen Elizabeth and her court, aerialists, and over twenty other acts providing continuous entertainment in the streets and on six stages. This year’s slate also offers new acts each weekend.
Kids will love the patron interaction battles, and those who complete the Queen’s Quest can be Knighted. There’s also the Queens’ Tea, the Warriors Table and the Royal Gallery.
The faire is a production of the Big Bear Valley Renaissance Society, Inc., a nonprofit organization whose primary financial goal is to provide students and teachers with funds for, among other things, scholarships and educational opportunities.
A general admission adult day pass is $15, or $12 for seniors 55 and up, military, students and kids between the ages of 6 and 12. Children 5 and under get in free. Advance tickets are available on Eventbrite and by phone at the Big Bear Lake Resort Association, (800) 424-2327.
