Big Bear Lake, CA, December 10, 2012 – The Big Bear Elementary Strings Program is holding their Christmas Reception on December 18 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. This event is the major annual fundraiser to help reach the $30,000 needed each year to keep the Strings Program alive in the three local elementary schools. Donations enable free classroom instruction to all children and help provide instruments to children who cannot afford them.
The requested minimum tax-deductible donation is $25 per person. This year, the Furlotti Family Foundation will match up to $5,000 in local donations.
The reception will be casual attire and held at the Prophet residence (681 Snowbird Court, at the corner of Evergreen Drive in Big Bear Lake), and it includes wine and heavy hors d’oeuvres by Old Country Inn, and Christmas music by the Elementary Strings Students.
