Big Bear, Ca, December 9, 2015 – The Coroner’s Division of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an adult male who was found dead, inside a tent, in the San Bernardino National Forest north of Cedar Lake Camp on November 28. The decedent is described as a possible white male, had short grey hair and a beard, and was approximately 5’7″ – 5’8″ in height. He was wearing brown GoreTex Merrill boots, Polarma black thermal pants, a Polarmax black thermal shirt, blue hiking pants, a large light green button up shirt, and an Avalanche brand green and grey jacket. He was staying in a grey and green tent, and was using an orange and grey Suisse Sport sleeping bag. Anyone with information about the identification of this subject is requested to contact Det.
