Big Bear Lake, CA, November 24, 2013 – Next month, the Big Bear Theatre Project will present its own hilarious version of the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge. Comic trio Steve Cassling, Ty Warren and Brian Adams will play all the familiar Dickens characters, plus some originals.
The show is done in the ‘panto’ style of theater, with its rowdy combination of audience involvement, political humor, songs, and — photo opp! — guys in dresses.
“A Christmas Carol… askew” opens December 19 for a four-show run at the Big Bear Lake Performing Arts Center (39707 Big Bear Blvd.). Show times are 7:30 p.m. December 19, 20 and 21 and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22.
