Big Bear, Ca, September 29, 2010, 12:00pm – The title of Miss Big Bear now falls upon Anna Peckham, who won the title this past weekend. Peckham won over the judges with her interview, which takes place before the competition, her onstage introduction, evening gown, and her answers to judge’s questions in the final round. Peckham will be awarded a $2,500 scholarship. Terra Matlock placed 1st runner up, receiving a $1,000 scholarship, Peyton Roberts placed as 2nd runner up, receiving a $750 scholarship, Meghan Ellis placed 3rd runner up, receiving a $500 scholarship, and Keisha Romney placed 4th runner up, receiving a $250 scholarship. The evening was a hit with performances by local dance group Dance Anonymous, from the Park and Recreation office, and Big Bear High School senior John Hendrix, sang the National Anthem, and God Bless America. Kimberly Etter was voted as the Most Photogenic, Keisha Romney was voted as Miss Congeniality, and Sarah Brayton was awarded the Spirit of Big Bear award. Look for the new Miss Big Bear Court around town, and at many of Big Bear’s events.
