Baldwin Lake, CA, May 17, 2013 – Law enforcement officers are bringing Bruce Jackson to the Cactus Flats area to identify a dog matching the description of the runaway dog that caused him to be separated from another hiker.
Jackson reported yesterday to the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station that he had been separated from his friend, 59-year-old Karen Dalman, after his dog got away from them during a hike. Dalman was last seen at approximately 10:00 a.m. on May 14 in the Crystal Mountain area of Baldwin Lake, near Forestry Road 2N02 for a day-hike. Cactus Flats off of Highway 18 is several miles from the area where the pair was separated.
