Big Bear Lake, CA, October 9, 2012 – Soroptimist International of Big Bear has come up with a fun way to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month. They’ve issued the “Artful Bra Challenge”, calling for groups, businesses or individuals to come up with whimsical ways to decorate and name a bra.
Guidelines:
* Bras must be a size 36C
* Bras must be completely covered, inside and out, including straps
* Bras must hang on a hanger
* Entries should be named something whimsical
* All bras will become the property of Soroptimist Interational of Big Bear Valley
Artful Bras must be turned in no later than October 18, at Big Bear Luxury Properties (40641 Big Bear Blvd., open seven days a wek, 9a.m. – 6p.m.).
The Artful Bra Auction will take place at La Dolce Vita Tasting Room on Sunday, October 21, 4 – 7p.m., with proceeds benefiting the Mammogram Program. Ticket prices are $25 and include wine tasting. Call (909) 838-3649 for tickets and information.
