ORIGINAL STORY
Big Bear Lake, CA, January 20, 2013 – The City of Big Bear Lake has been working on a Pedestrian, Bicycle and Equestrian Master Plan, with the help of about 150 members of the public. December marked the end of the first phase of the planning process. Since then, the Project Team has been researching land use, traffic, transit services, and economic development. They have also developed preliminary route alignments for pedestrians, bicyclists, and equestrians. These topics and more will be covered at Public Workshop #2, and residents and visitors are invited to attend and give feedback on some preliminary concepts. The meeting is set for Tuesday, January 29 at 6:30 pm at the Performing Arts Center (39707 Big Bear Blvd.). Learn more at www.gettherebigbear.com.
If you can’t attend but would like to give input, you can fill out a survey at or simply submit comments here: www.gettherebigbear.com/mail_forms.
