Big Bear, Ca, February 11, 2011, 5:00pm – The following is an update on the crash that took place Thursday, February 10th, on Highway 38 and State Lane. The two individuals involved in the crash have been identified as 75-year-old Mary Anne Boone, and 85 year old John Robert Boone of Big Bear City. Mary Anne was driving the car, when for unknown reasons at this time the vehicle drifted off the road, and hit 4 trees, resulting in the vehicle ending on its side. Mary Anne was transported by airship to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, and John was transported to Bear Valley Hospital. Both sustained moderate to major injuries and are in the hospital at this time. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
