Big Bear Lake, CA, July 19, 2012, 9:00am – Trail Fest 2012, a celebration of all 2,650 miles of the scenic Pacific Crest Trail running from Mexico to Canada, is coming to Big Bear for three days beginning July 27 at Northwoods Resort on Village Drive. The trail runs through Big Bear, bringing hundreds of hikers into the city every year. This year hikers and those who love the trail will come together to celebrate the Pacific Crest Trail at Northwoods Resort and Conference Center on Village Drive, learning about the geology and wildlife of the trail, and how to pack and plan for a short trip or a long hike.
