Big Bear Lake, CA, November 18, 2013 – The public is invited to attend a presentation called “Extreme Collaboration Via Technology” at Big Bear Middle School at 6:00 p.m. tomorrow.
Educator and technology advocate Roland Garcia will be the main presenter. Roland has been a classroom teacher for 15 years, teaching educational technology courses at San Diego State University and National University. He also served as a technology coordinator and director for seven years and has a passion for being a progressive educator. During this workshop, students, teachers and all community members can learn how to:
- Make learning a more meaningful experience on student devices, regardless of brand or operating system.
- Empower students to collaborate with peers and teachers and build 21st century skills.
- Make it easier for teachers to reach students with mobile devices for a richer collaboration
- Access lesson content
Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop or mobile device, to interact during the presentation.
