Big Bear Lake, April 18, 2014 – Snow Summit reopens its renowned bike park for the summer season this Saturday, making it the first and only lift-serviced bike park open in North America.
The base area at Snow Summit will be a Vendor Booth City, featuring dozens of brands like Troy Lee Designs, Five Ten, Smith Optic, Ryders Eyewear, Marin Bikes, Freestyle USA, and Trek. Some of the attractions are DJ Slip Matt, raffles, prizes, huge product giveaways. Drink specials will be available for the 21 and older crowd.
Summertime season passes for the Bike Park are now on sale too. Other summertime activities to enjoy at Summit include hiking, sightseeing, and the Scenic Sky Chair.
Chris Riddle, Vice President of Marketing for Big Bear Mountain Resorts, said, “We’re excited to be the first bike park to open for the season, and we’ll be one of the last to close. It’s going to be a long, fun season here at Snow Summit.”
