San Bernardino County, CA — For those curious to see a glimpse of life in San Bernardino County in the 1580s—or the 1880s—staff from the San Bernardino County Museum will offer a display at this Thursday’s At Your Service Community Resource Fair. This, the first County-sponsored event of its kind, will be held from 9am to 5pm, along North Main Street at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. San Bernardino County staff and communities will offer 40 booths, highlighting attractions within the County; there will also be booths hosted by the Chino Airport, including a display of a WWII P38 fighter plane, and the Auto Club Speedway, which will be bringing a NASCAR pace car to the event. Several departments will have free games, demonstrations, entertainment and information services; among those, the Department of Public Health will offer free health screenings and H1N1 vaccinations to eligible residents. For more information on the March 25 At Your Service event at Victoria Gardens, which will feature over 100 activities free to the public, call 888/818-8988 or visit sbcounty.gov. Note to attendees: Remember, Highway 330 is closed, so alternate routes to get off the mountain include Highway 18 through the desert, Highway 38 to Mentone, or Highway 18 through the Lake Arrowhead area.
