North Shore Elementary School students spent their Saturday washing cars, in an effort to raise funds for their music program. On Tuesday evening, the North Shore Eagles will offer the community another opportunity to support their fundraising efforts, as they host a chili dog dinner at the elementary, located at the northern end of Stanfield Cutoff at the east end of Big Bear Lake. The chili dog dinner runs from 5 to 7pm on the 22nd, and tickets can be purchased at the door; cost is just $2 per chili dog, and $1 each for chips, drinks and desserts. Funds raised at the North Shore Elementary dinner (which will also feature student entertainment) will assist in sending students to the Forum Festival competition in November, and to Knott’s Berry Farm, to perform in June. Questions can be directed to the Robin O’Hare, the school’s music program director, at 866-7501 x129.
