Big Bear, Ca, May 18, 2011, 12:00pm – The Arts Council of Big Bear Valley has announced their Sunday afternoon series “Music at the Mansion” will start this Sunday, May 22nd. The program was originally going to be held outside at the Knickerbocker Mansion under a white tent, however, due to expected cold temperatures, the venue for this Sunday’s event has been changed to Community Church by the Lake. Pianist Barbara King invites everyone to come out and “enjoy some amazing local talent,” which includes Kim Boda, John Grandi, Michael McConnell, Elena Peavy, Nancy Walker, Mike Cross, Peggy Baldwin, Sharon Rizzo, and Barbara King. Throughout the summer there will be four other performances at the Mansion including performers from the 3rd Annual Big Bear Song Festival June 7th through the 11th, Wake the Bard, a Celtic Band on July 10th, Big Bear alumni musical talent comes home to sing and perform on August 14th, with the final Music at the Mansion on September 18th.
