Moonridge Animal Park Hosts Wolf Awareness Day

Big Bear, Ca, October 14, 2011, 12:00pm – Tomorrow is Wolf Awareness Day at the Moonridge Animal Park.  The Zoo volunteers and staff will dispel myths about wolves and inform attendees of their importance within the circle of life.  There will be arts and crafts activities for children, giving them the chance to make a hand puppet or a wolf mask.  At noon, Red Riding Hood will come and read a story to the children, and she will be accompanied by real wolves.  There will also be a 2:00pm feeding tour of the animals in the park.  The zoo opens at 10:00am, and will close at 5:00pm, and normal entry rates apply.
