Big Bear, Ca, July 22, 2011, 3:00pm – The Old Miners’ Big Bear Heritage Parade will take place this Saturday in the Village of Big Bear Lake. The well known that parade that was on a hiatus last year has returned and will have a new parade route. The parade will start at Alden Rd, and Big Bear Blvd, will travel two blocks to Pine Knot Avenue, and will travel through the village to the Village Drive, down Bonanza Rd. The Parade will start at 10:00am, so spectators are encouraged to find their viewing spot beforehand. Some of the participating local organizations include the Big Bear Lake Antique Car Club, the Village Business Association, the Friends of the Moonridge Zoo, Odyssey of the Mind, the Rotary Club of Big Bear Lake and many more.
