Big Bear Valley, CA, June 4, 2014 – Tuesday’s statewide primary election netted dominant wins for the Bear Valley Hospital Measure F extending the property tax assessments and Measure E, the transfer of the Rim Forest water system from Big Bear to Lake Arrowhead. A November runoff is also now in place for the Assembly seat of the 33rd District between local Mayor Jay Obernolte(R) and John Coffey(D). Paul Cook wins back his seat in an easy victory for the Congressional 8th District. John McMahon returns to his position as County Sheriff along with District Attorney Michael Ramos, Treasurer Larry Walker, and County Supervisor 2nd District, Janice Rutherford. Former State Senator Bob Dutton takes an easy victory for the position of County Assessor.
