Big Bear Lake, CA, June 14, 2013 – As an introduction to their new Adventure Park, Snow Summit is hosting Community Appreciation Days June 17 through June 21. Big Bear residents with valid I.D. or utility bills will be treated to all-day, unlimited rides on the mile-long Scenic Sky Chair. Locals can also bring their bikes for a free trip to the summit, or get a 50% discount on bike rentals for all levels. The View Haus BBQ will be open at the top from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for barbecue-style lunch and refreshments.
“Many locals have never ridden the Scenic Sky Chair or experienced Snow Summit in the summer months,” says Chris Riddle, Vice President of Marketing for Big Bear Mountain Resorts. “With the grand opening of Snow Summit Adventure Park, we want to ensure our local community gets a first glance to see what’s new right here in their own backyard.”
