Big Bear Lake, CA – Who has the Saltiest Mustache in town? Come to Stachetoberfest 2017 and vote for the best mustaches grown for fun and a great cause! Big Bear Professional Firefighters’ Association, Local 935, hosts this annual fundraiser on Thursday, October 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the new Oakside Restaurant in the Village. Show up and show off your best mustache in the Mustache Contest, or just come for a ton of fun.
According to Fire Engineer Bobby Whitmore,“This isn’t just for firemen. We would like anyone and everyone from the community to join us in this lighthearted event for a great cause.” Tickets are $20 for pre-sale at or $30 at the door. The entry fee buys dinner, a beer and a raffle ticket. All proceeds from the entry fee and raffle ticket sales go to support Soroptimist International of Big Bear Valley’s Breast Cancer Prevention program. Every dollar counts when someone’s life depends on it. Big Bear Firefighters’ Association invites the community to help in the battle against breast cancer by donating to and being a part of this fun event and worthy cause.
