Big Bear Lake, CA, June 25th – The City of Big Bear Lake, Department of Water and Big Bear City Community Services District would like to wish all of our customers a safe, healthy and happy 4th of July weekend.
This Independence Day, we ask everyone in our communities to take a vacation from outdoor irrigation. More visitors, warmer temperatures and the resulting increase in fire risk all contribute to the valley-wide decision to approve No Watering Holidays. This means no outdoor watering Saturday and Sunday of all major summer holidays, including Independence Day. The prohibition against outdoor irrigation includes sprinklers, drip irrigation and hand watering both Saturday and Sunday, July 2nd and 3rd.
