For those looking to have a “Hot Blooded” Fourth of July weekend in Big Bear, the Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District is offering a lakeside concert featuring Lou Gramm of Foreigner, the band behind “Jukebox Hero” and “Feels Like the First Time.” Tickets are now on sale for the Fourth of July concert, to be held at Swim Beach on Big Bear Lake; ticket prices range from $25 to just $35 for a front row seat. According to Rec and Park’s Lorie Judd, “They’re all great seats—the furthest is only 90 feet from the stage! It’s going to be a great show. We’re also going to have great food vendors and the fireworks over Big Bear Lake after the show, so what could be better than that?” Since the show is at Swim Beach, and boating on the Fourth is a tradition for many, there will also be boat entry available at the Lou Gramm concert. For $250 per boat, no matter the number onboard, concert-goers can enjoy the show from the cove of Swim Beach. The concert begins at 6:30pm, and the annual fireworks show over Big Bear Lake will be immediately following. To purchase tickets, visit the Recreation and Park District offices on Park Avenue or call 866-9700; to view the seating chart for the Saturday, July 4 concert, visit bigbearparks.com.
