Discovery Center Offers Snowshoe Tours During Winter Season

Big Bear, Ca, January 5, 2011, 8:00am – In the winter months, those that regularly get their exercise by participating in summertime activities may be looking for a winter activity to participate in that doesn’t require a lot of equipment or skill.  If you can walk you can snowshoe.  The Big Bear Discovery Center is now offering snowshoe tours for the entire family.  Beginners to enthusiasts can enjoy this great outdoor winter activity.  Reservations are recommended as tours are filled on a first-come basis, and space is limited to 12 people per tour.  Participants should be at least eight years of age.
