Big Bear, Ca, September 12, 2011, 3:30pm – The Twin Peaks Sheriff station is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a critical missing child. Today at approximately 11:03 a.m., the Twin Peaks Sheriff’s Station received a report that 8-year-old Joshua Robb from the Grandview Elementary School was missing. Joshua Robb is described as 4’6”, between 60-75 pounds, has brown hair, dark brown eyes, and is described as severely autistic. Joshua was last seen on the school playground in a tan and gray striped shirt with a collar, black shorts and gray sandals before he ran away from the school. Deputies and Citizen Volunteers from the Twin Peaks Station immediately began a search in and around the area of the school. Sheriff’s Aviation responded and is assisting by conducting an aerial search. Personnel from the Sheriff’s Department Volunteer Forces Unit and the California Highway Patrol have also arrived on scene and are assisting with the search.
