On Sunday, August 2, the Old Miners Association presented the annual Old Miners Day Parade with dozens of creative floats on display. KBHR News Director Catherine Sandstrom was among the judges; here are the results:

~ Old Miners Award: Cowboy Gathering
~ Civic Floats: Dancers Anonymous (1st Place) and the Village Business Association (2nd Place)
~ Youth Floats: Boy Scout Troop 49 (1st Place), First Baptist Church (2nd Place) and Big Bear High School Jazz Band (3rd Place)
~ Service Floats: Chamber Maids (1st Place), Kiwanis Club (2nd Place) and Doves of Big Bear Valley (3rd Place)
~ Commercial Float: Pine Knot Marina
