Chamber Power Breakfast: Thursday, October 7th

Big Bear, Ca, October 5, 2010, 12:00pm – The Big Bear Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly Power Breakfast this Thursday at the Northwoods resort.  The Power Breakfast will start at 7:30am this month, and will feature guest speaker Jim Miller, Director of Building and Planning for the City of Big Bear Lake.  Miller will be presenting information on the upcoming changes to the sign ordinance, which is currently being reviewed by the City of Big Bear Lake Planning Commission. “Come and hear what they are intending to change and provide your feedback and input to ensure your voice is heard.” Said Sara Russ, President and CEO of the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce.  Miller will also take questions from the audience.  As it gets colder in Big Bear, the Chamber of Commerce will change from Power Breakfasts to Power Lunches for the months of November through March.  The lunches will take place the first Tuesday of the month, and will be held at the Northwoods Resort at 11:30am.  The cost for the Power Lunches will be $15 for members and $20 for non-members.  Thursdays Power Breakfast will be $11 for members and $15 for non-members.  For more information visit www.bigbearchamber.com or call 866-4607.
