Big Bear Lake, CA, July 25, 2012, 3:00pm – Blues For The Zoo, a fundraiser for the Big Bear Lake Moonridge Animal Park is set for Saturday, August 4 at the Swim Beach Outdoor Amphitheater. The afternoon of music from 3 to 7:30pm will feature C.J. Chenier, Jimmy Thackery & The Drivers, and Alvin Youngblood Hart. The gates open at 1pm and outdoor chairs and blankets are welcome for festival-style lawn seating. The lakeside setting provides a scenic backdrop for an afternoon of internationally recognized musicians, local artisan booths and a freshly prepared food and beverage menu. Tickets are $30 in advance / $35 on the day of the show. Children 10 and under are admitted free of charge. Parking is $4.00. Tickets are available at the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce on Bartlett Road in the Village and at the Moonridge Animal Park Gift Shop.
