Big Bear, Ca, September 14, 2011, 3:00pm – The Village Business Association (VBA) of Big Bear Lake will host the autumn Wine Walk this Saturday, September 17, 2011, in the downtown Big Bear Lake Village shopping district from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The merchant organized event will showcase fine wine and the Village’s unique businesses, with a portion of the proceeds to be donated to Parents in Support of Academics (PSA). “The Wine Walk has grown to be a fabulous event,” said Cheri Wilson, co-chair of the VBA Wine Walk and owner of Home Warehouse Design Center. “The merchants really shine by pouring great wines and marketing their store in a unique way. ” With every event, the list of participating merchants has grown and the event has drawn attendees from as far away as Las Vegas, Nevada. Surpassing all seasonal and other events, the Wine Walk has become the most successful event produced and hosted by the VBA in terms of funds raised and donations. Tickets for the VBA autumn Wine Walk cost $25.00 and can be purchased at Home Warehouse Design Center. Tickets will be sold on the day of the event for $30. Participating merchants include: Bear Skins (non-alcoholic site), The Village Quilt Shop, The Copper Q, Hunter Hall’s, Cedar Rose, Shirt Shanty, Home Warehouse Design Center, Village Sweet Shoppe, Le Dolce Vita Tasting Room, Amangela’s Sandwich & Bagel House, Belladonna Clothing Company, Del Lago’s Boutique, Charleze and O Koo Ran.
