Big Bear City, Ca, January 30, 2011, 7:45am – At 7:23 Emergency personal responded to an Aircraft incident on Mountain View in Big Bear City. A Twin Piper Comanche crashed around 7:20am ½ mile short of the east end of the Big Bear City Airport. The pilot was transported to Desert Medical Center and was presumed to be the only person on board. The plane was destroyed and two homes were damaged, one severely. No one on the ground was injured and the cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
