Big Bear Lake, CA, December 31, 2012 – Big Bear is doing its part to fight the national epidemic of childhood obesity with its initiative KIDS. GET OUTDOORS. WIN. With the introduction of a new adventure stamp passport, kids can now use their participation in winter sports to win prizes like a new snowboard, a free session of laser tag, or a season pass to Big Bear Mountain Resorts. Kids collect stamps on their passports for incentives after visiting designated Outdoor Fun Spots to join in activities such as inner tubing, snowshoeing, ziplining, animal tracking, skiing and snowboarding.
Adventure stamp passports are available at the Big Bear Visitor Center (630 Bartlett Road) or at the Outdoor Fun Spots: Bear Mountain, Snow Summit, Big Bear Discovery Center, Action Zipline Tours, Action Segway Tours, Big Bear Snowplay, Goldsmiths Boardhouse and Blauers Ski and Board Shop.
