Fawnskin, CA, July 10, 2013 – ‘Quality of life activist’ Tammie Hayes has spent the last three months traveling more than 9,500 miles to raise awareness about bullying, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and suicide. She also runs a website for victims and their families from her home in Big Bear City. Hayes will present her inspiring message of compassion and perseverance at the next Big Bear THRIVES! gathering on July 14 from 3:00 – 5:30 pm at the Big Bear Discovery Center. The free gathering will include a healthy potluck and raffles, and people are encouraged to bring business cards for networking and literature that is socially conscious and environmentally sustainable.
