Big Bear Lake, CA, June 14, 2013 – Snow Summit Adventure Park will hold an official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on June 15 at 9:00 a.m. This is Southern California’s first complete outdoor summer adventure park of its kind and home to its only lift-served downhill bike park. Saturday’s event will feature vendors and a live DJ in the Snow Summit base area.
The Adventure Park offers the following recreational activities for summer:
- The mile-long Scenic Sky Chair
- Outdoor dining at the View Haus
- Mountaintop trail hiking
- Cross-country mountain biking in the San Bernardino National Forest
- Downhill mountain biking on new trails designed by Gravity Logic
- Downhill and cross-country mountain bike rentals for all skill levels in the base area
- The side-by-side Flying Squirrel Zip Line (opening soon)
