Big Bear Lake, CA, April 29, 2013 – The City of Big Bear Lake’s Pedestrian, Bicycle and Equestrian Master Plan Team presents a third public workshop on April 30, this one focusing on prioritizing and implementing the list of projects and programs. The workshop begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center (39707 Big Bear Boulevard).
The Master Plan is still in the draft stage but expected to by completed by June or July, 2013. It will provide a blueprint for creating a community of healthy neighborhoods that are safe and enjoyable for those using alternative modes of transportation, such as walking, biking and horseback riding. It will also serve as a guide for attracting and building recreation-related businesses.
