Big Bear City, CA, September 25, 2012, 2:00pm – The Big Bear Sheriff’s Station is requesting assistance from the public to be on the lookout for missing person Michael Lynn Anderson. Anderson was last seen on August 5, 2012 at approximately 4:00 p.m. Anderson and two friends drove from Big Bear up Van Dusen Canyon to the Belleville Cabin in Holcomb Valley. On August 24, 2012, it was reported to the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station that Anderson’s friends left him at their vehicle while they hiked in the area and Anderson was gone when they returned approximately 25 minutes later. Anderson is a 55-year-old white male adult, 5’8” tall, 140 lbs., with grey hair and hazel eyes. He has “Rosie” tattooed on his left arm, “Motorcyclist” tattooed on his left forearm, and a tattoo of the Grim Reaper on his back. Anderson is reported to be transient from Lucerne Valley with no known medical problems. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and an unknown colored t-shirt.
