Local Lodges Offer International Hospitality

Big Bear Lake, CA, Septmber 22, 2012 — Local lodging sponsors once again paved the way for a large influx of Hollywood professionals attending the Big Bear Lake International Film Festival – many of whom were visiting the area for the first time. Accommodation sponsors included Alpine Village Inn, Bear Creek Resort, Big Bear Frontier, Big Bear Lakefront Lodge, Blue Horizon Lodge, Fireside Lodge, Gold Mountain Manor, Golden Bear Cottages, Hillcrest Lodge, Knights Inn, Lagonita Lodge, Mountain Vista Resort, Robinhood Resort, Timber Haven Lodge and Wolf Creek Resort. Northwoods Resort returned as the host hotel and conference center, while Big Bear Vacations’ Lakeview Lodge hosted high school students and teachers at the inaugural film camp. Industry VIPs staying locally included a Pulitzer prize-nominated composer and Oscar winning screenwriters, as well as filmmakers from as far away as the east coast, London and Australia.
