Big Bear Lake, CA, July 20, 2012, 9:00am – On Saturday, July 21, 2012, the Old Miners Big Bear Heritage Parade will kick off at 3:30pm. The Parade Formation Area for all parade participants will be the Brownie Parking Lot. The street closures will take place at 3pm. The Parade will start at 3:30pm on China Garden Road and travel north to Big Bear Boulevard. The Parade will then head west on Big Bear Boulevard and disband behind the Big Bear Middle School buildings. The Old Miners Big Bear Heritage parade will be about 1 to 1½ hours in duration. The Boulevard will stay closed until the Parade reaches the Middle School and the last entry clears. Then Big Bear Boulevard will be completely re-opened. Bring folding chairs and water, and watch the fun, historical Old Miners Big Bear Heritage Parade. There are lots of fun musical groups, Uncle Sam on a bicycle, several equestrian groups, gorgeous antique cars, dune buggies and other surprises. The Grand Marshal of the Parade will be John Grandi.
