Because of unforeseen circumstances, we have unfortunately been forced to cancel our scheduled production of Samuel Beckett’s “Waiting For Godot”.
If you’ve already purchased your tickets for “Godot”, please call 909-585-4840 and we’ll arrange a refund or a raincheck for one of our upcoming productions. If you purchased tickets for the Doves Benefit Preview performance, call 909-866-1546 to make arrangements there.
[Original Story] Big Bear Lake, CA, July 18, 2012, 8:00am – The Big Bear Theatre Project will present Samuel Beckett’s Modern Classic of Comedy and Tragedy “Waiting For Godot”. The production will be directed by Steve Gaghagen, and will star Steve Cassling, Steve Gaghagen, Brian Adams, Dustin Murphy, and Spencer Cassling. “Waiting For Godot” was first performed in the 1950’s and was recently selected as the most influential English Language play of the 20th Century by a panel of 800 playwrights, directors, actors and producers. The performances will be held at Theatre 617 in the Masonic Lodge at 385 Summit Boulevard in Big Bear Lake. The opening night evening performance starts at 8pm on July 20 and the show runs until August 4. Tickets are available in advance and can be purchased at No Name Pizza or by calling 585-4840. Tickets will be available at the door, but seating is limited. Phyliss Axton, the Office Manager at DOVES, Domestic Violence Education and Services tells Big Bear News all proceeds from the opening night performance will go directly to DOVES.
