Big Bear Lake, CA September 7, 2015 – The friends of the Big Bear Alpine Zoo invite you to their 20th Annual Run for the Grizzlies on September 12, 2015 from 9am to 4pm. This year’s event will be held at 630 Bartlett Rd in the Village, behind the Chamber of Commerce. This is an annual fundraiser supporting the Big Bear Alpine Zoo’s grizzly bears. They plan to use the funds to help build a modern habitat for their family of bears after relocating the zoo to a larger property.
The event will be open to the public and all motorcycles are welcome. There will be opportunity drawings, silent auctions, prizes, a Chapter Challenge, vendors, live music, and the BBQ and drinks will be provided by their co-host, Chad’s Place. There will be seven poker stops around Big Bear Lake, including a stop at the Big Bear Alpine Zoo to visit the grizzlies.
Registration will be from 9:30am to 12pm Saturday September 12, 2015 at 630 Bartlett Rd, or online at www.RunForTheGrizzlies.com. Tickets are $30 for the first rider and just $25 for the second rider, and will include a Poker Run Pin and T-Shirt.
