Big Bear, CA, June 11, 2012, 5:00pm – The 4th Annual Big Bear Lake Song Festival returns this week to the Knickerbocker Mansion with two free evenings of music programs open to the public. On Tuesday, June 12th beginning at 7pm the concert will feature songs by Kern, Rogers and Hammerstein, Bernstein and more with sopranos Elaine Fitzpatrick, on of the founders of the festival, Diane Sloan, Stephanie Thorpe and pianist Michelle Lee. On Thursday, June 14th, the second free concert will feature American Folk songs by Celius Doughery beginning at 7pm. Many of the performers will be from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Tod Fitzpatrick, General Director of the Big Bear Lake Song Festival describes this week’s events. Prior to Thursday evening’s performance, the Knickerbocker Manion Bistro will be offering a limited menu dinner for $25 beginning at 5pm. Reservations are necessary for dinner by calling the Arts Council at 585-5916 no later than Tuesday.
