Big Bear Lake, CA — A tree fell on a residential structure in the Eagle Point area during the storm though, per Big Bear Lake Fire Department Captain John Arden, “We got the call about 2pm this afternoon [January 19], though it could have happened last night.” Captain Arden tells KBHR that it was a smaller-sized tree that fell, causing minimal damage to the garage of an unoccupied residence in the 200 block of south Eagle Drive in Eagle Point. There were no injuries as a result of the downed tree and, adds Arden, “It was nothing too major, so we are fortunate that it wasn’t bigger and that more damage didn’t occur.”
