Old Miners Association Invites All To Meeting & Movie

Big Bear Lake, CA, December 28, 2012 – The Big Bear Old Miners Association invites all interested people to attend a general membership meeting and enjoy a movie matinee. The meeting will begin at 3pm on Sunday, January 13 in Nottingham’s Tavern at the corner of Pine Knot Avenue and Big Bear Boulevard. You do not have to be a member to attend. The members of the Association will discuss and are seeking input on the 2013 Events Calendar which includes the annual Big Bear Heritage Parade, the Chili Cook-off and a slate of potential events. The Association is also looking for new members and volunteers. The movie “Paint Your Wagon” will screen immediately following the meeting. “Paint Your Wagon” stars Clint Eastwood and portions of the film were filmed in and around the Big Bear Valley and Holcomb Valley during the summer of 1969.  No-host food and drinks will be available from the Nottingham’s menu and Tavern bar.
