Youth Foundation & Soroptimists Present Parks & Rec With Great News!

Big Bear, Ca, June 13, 2011, 3:00pm – The Soroptimist International of Big Bear Valley along with the Big Bear Youth Foundation has exciting news to share with the valley. Teresa Regan Blood, the president of the Youth Foundation told KBHR that the Youth Foundation has presented Big Bear Valley Recreation and Parks district with a check for $380,000 to enhance the pool at the sports ranch. The existing pool located at the Sports Ranch in Erwin Lake will be enhanced, and enlarged to include swim lap lanes, and will provide the residents of the valley with an additional resource when it comes to personal health and fitness. There is no word yet on when the enhancements will be completed.
