The Rotary Club of Big Bear Lake has, in recent years, hosted young professionals from both Korea and Sweden here in the Big Bear Valley, through the Rotary International Group Study Exchange program. In April, selected young professionals who live within Rotary’s District 5330 (which covers portions of San Bernardino County) will spend a month in Hungary, to exchange career training experiences and meet with their Hungarian career counterparts. Non-Rotarian professionals, ages 25 to 40, are being sought to participate in the Group Study Exchange, which is funded by our local Rotary Club. Team selection takes place in December’s first week, though applications for prospective GSE participants are due by November 23.
