Big Bear Lake, CA, December 29, 2012 – This New Year’s Eve there are several places where you can go in Big Bear Valley to celebrate.
At Snow Summit the annual Torchlight Parade is Big Bear’s signature New Year’s Eve event. A holiday attraction not seen anywhere else in southern California. 250 skiers and snowboarders, some dressed in eccentric holiday costumes, will descend down the mountain with lit torches to create a spectacular display of illumination. The event is free and begins at 7pm.
After the Torchlight Parade Snow Summit’s New Year’s Eve party is from 8pm until 12:30am with heavy hors d’oeuvres and music with DJ Desi.
The party at Bear Mountain is from 9 pm until 12:30 am. Admission is $25 with heavy hors d’oeuvres and music provided by DJ Club George.
The party at Diamond Lil’s Saloon will be from 8 pm until 12:30 am. Admission (21 and older only) is $45. They’ll have an all you can eat buffet and live music.
Nottinghams New Year’s Eve Bash is from 7 pm to 1 am. Admission is $35 (21 and older only). Enjoy party favors, a champagne toast and live music.
The New Year’s Eve Celebration at Wyatt’s, inside the Big Bear Lake Convention Center is a free, family event from 5 pm until midnight. They’ll have a DJ, dancing and kids activities.
At Wolf Creek Resort the New Year’s Eve Party starts at 7:30 pm with a $75 admission charge (21 and older only). They’ll offer dinner, dancing and music by Mike Cross & the Jazz Trio.
