Women of all faiths, ages and backgrounds are invited to join in an enriching weekend of renewal of body, mind and spirit. Loving Life! An Extraordinary Journey, is the theme of the 9th annual Women’s Wellness Weekend September 11-13 at the Big Bear Discovery Center.
This year, participants will learn, share and grow in their understanding and experience of why and how to live their love and love their life! In an atmosphere of loving relationships and renewing experiences, specific tools to engage the amazing self-healing and growth potential of the human mind, body, emotions and spirit will be shared. Honoring the “heroic” life journey is the guiding process, with exercises and fun, creative activities that guide participants to uncover and grow the “treasures and gems” of their own lives.
Dr. Robin Bradley, Psychologist and Life Coach, leads the weekend venue with profound “tools and tips” gained from over 30 years of work in helping people to live their best lives. She is joined in workshops by local talented women, including writer Christie Walker, photographer Barbara Jordan, life coach Dawn Van Bavel, counselors Carol Treadwell and Sharon Lupert, multi-talented Debbie Ward, and massage therapist Rita McMillian (who will offer chair massage!). Alison Benjamin, the founder of the original Women’s Wellness Weekend, will also share her “soulscape” art process at this event.
Men are also welcome Friday evening at the special event, “We are the World – The Art and Science of Global Unity”. A keynote presentation by scientist Joe Bradley includes scientific understanding of the principles of physics that are involved in life change and excellence. Joe Bradley will share facts on the invisible energies of quantum physics, the molecules of chemistry, the biological web of life and new health models from biophysics.
Dr. Robin Bradley will focus on how these emerging models of health show that our heart and our daily choices can “regenerate us” and powerfully affect our overall well-being.
The inspiration continues through the weekend and includes lunch and dinner on Saturday.
Weekend registration is $195; the Friday evening event may be purchased separately for $25; mini-retreats may be purchased separately for $30. To register, visit www.lovingliferetreats.com, or call (909) 866-4948. Some scholarships are available.
