Big Bear, Ca, November 15, 2010, 3:00pm – Brothers Casey and Cameron Williams competed this past weekend in the 12 hours of Temecula endurance mountain bike race. This was the first race in which 16 year old Casey, and 14 year old Cameron raced together as a duo open team, and it paid off as they won the duo category, and placed 2nd overall behind a four person team. Long time pro rider Tinker Juarez won for the solo category, and placed third overall. The course was just shy of 11 miles, and the Williams brothers completed 13 laps in 12 hours. Younger brother 12 year old Evan competed on a three person team with 11 year old Cole Avery, and 13 year old Christian Husband. Evans team placed 4th in 3 person open category out of 27 teams, completing 12 laps total. Mother Kim Williams told KBHR “riders and spectators were coming up and telling me how impressed they were with the boys.” All three Williams brothers will compete at the Bootleg endurance race, and will compete in the solo 6 hour division.
