Victor Alvarez Memorial Race At Snow Summit

Big Bear Lake, CA, March 8, 2013 – The 17^th Annual Victor Alvarez Memorial Race and Silent Auction is this Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Snow Summit. It’s a way to remember Victor and it’s also a fundraiser for the Snow Summit Junior Race Team. Enter for your chance at a $3075 cash purse. It’s a Pro-Style Giant Slalom Race. Registration begins at 8am in the lower level of the Bear Bottom Lodge. Qualifications begin at 10am with head-to-head eliminations starting at 1pm. The entry fee is $50 for children and $70 for adults, and includes a lift ticket, T-Shirt and race fees. There will be a silent auction open to the public in the Bear Bottom Lodge. Prizes include hotel accommodations, ski and snowboard equipment, clothing and more.
