Two CSD Meetings Set for Today

Big Bear City, Ca May 2, 2011 8:00 am – Two Big Bear City Community Services District meetings will be held today.  A special board meeting will be held at 4:30, prior to the regular meeting which is set to begin at 5:30 pm.  On the agenda for the special meeting is a closed session conference with legal counsel regarding existing litigation.  During the open session of the regular meeting, an ordinance will be introduced for adoption at a June 20 public hearing.  The ordinance directs that various sewer, solid waste, and water standby or availability charges be collected on the tax roll.  On the agenda for discussion are an ordinance to increase ambulance service fees, another to increase sewer connection fees, a resolution regarding collection of fees on the tax roll and public hearings on the resolution, and discussions about the CSD organization structure and recordings of meetings.  A closed session will include conferences with labor negotiators.  As always, the public is encouraged to attend the meetings and comment.  The meetings will be held at the CSD Office at 139 E Big Bear Blvd, in Big Bear City.
